The National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) will aim to raise €750m in a bond auction this week.

The NTMA, which manages the country's debt, said the bond will mature in 2022.

According to the agency, the auction will be held on Thursday.

The move comes despite higher borrowing costs for Ireland and other eurozone states.
