RALPH BENSON MERCEDES and Toyota dealer Denis Mahony has finally put his house on the market after two years of deliberations. 'Roseneath', on Church Road in Malahide, Co Dublin, is for salethrough agents O'Farrell Cleere at a guide price of ?4m.
The detached house is on three-quarters of an acre behind electronic gates, and has a swimming pool and sauna. There's also planning permission for a second house at the back, with separate access.

Mr Mahony claimed he had "absolutely no idea" the money would be used to pay county councillors, although he admitted that the payments could be described as not "above board".
ONE of the more interesting sales at the moment is beyond Bricks and Mortar's usual remit. That's the sale of a Rolls-Royce once owned by Elton John. Considering the Pope's 1999 Volkswagen sold last month for ?189,000, Elton John's old Roller must be worth a bob or two.
Limerick man Edward Franklin is looking for offers over ?45,000 for the bronze hand-built two-door Rolls-Royce Corniche. According to the log book, the car was owned by Elton John in his Yellow Brick Road days. The gold-plated 'spirit of ecstasy' on the bonnet and the cocktail cabinet inside are indications of EJ's lavish tastes.
The 1973 two-door coupe has 40,000 miles on the clock. To make an offer, ring Franklin at (087) 2392550.
ROCK star and family man Ozzy Osbourne has put his Californian house on the market for $11.9m, according to the LA Times. Ozzy is touring Europe (but not Ireland) with his reformed band Black Sabbath this month, while Sharon - his wife and manager - completes her autobiography, due in the autumn.
The Beverly Hills house where they have lived for nearly six years is to be sold as youngest kids Kelly and Jack move out. The gated residence is on less than an acre and the Osbournes want more space for their menagerie.
The house has six bedrooms and even more bathrooms. It has the obligatory swimming pool, as well as a grand, sweeping staircase in the main house, and a separate guesthouse. It is familiar to many because of the MTV series, The Osbournes, which was filmed mainly in the gated residence.
