NAMA refers two debtors to gardai for 'non-disclosure'

NAMA has referred two of its debtors, who allegedly tried to hide assets from the agency, to the gardai.

NAMA requires debtors to submit a full disclosure of their assets and liabilities when preparing a statement of affairs for the agency.

In a response to a parliamentary question, Finance Minister Michael Noonan said: "I am advised by NAMA that it has, to date, referred two formal complaints to the Garda Bureau of Fraud Investigation arising from the possible failure by debtors to fully disclose their assets and liabilities in their statements of affairs to the agency."
