Mrs Brown's Boys cash pile triples to €1.8m after lucrative year of touring
The runaway success of Brendan O'Carroll's foul-mouthed mammy, Agnes Browne, last year saw the cash pile at O'Carroll's main firm more than tripling to €1.79m.
New accounts filed by O'Carroll's Boc-Pix Ltd show that the company enjoyed a stellar year to the end of August last.
The figures show that accumulated profits increased by 252pc, from €278,248 to €980,944.
During the same period, the company's cash pile soared by some €1.2m from €531,410 to €1.79m
O'Carroll last year completed a lucrative tour of Australia and New Zealand, and slated more dates for the two countries with his 'For The Love of Mrs Brown' in January and February.
This year O'Carroll has been adding to his coffers with sold out shows of his 'Good Mourning Mrs Brown' tour in the UK in November and December.
The show is also due here in December.
