Moore the merrier: Christy's firm profits up to €1.34m
Accumulated profits at the music firm owned by singer-songwriter Christy Moore surged to over €1.34 million last year.
The Kildare native may be an 'ordinary man' but his firm, Yellow Furze Ltd continues to enjoy extraordinary profits.

Now over 50 years on the road, Moore's firm recorded profits of €290,747 in the 12 months to the end of March this year (2019).
The profits represent a 90pc increase on the profits of €152,271 recorded in 2018.
The principal activity of the company is the sale of music performances and recordings by Christy Moore.
The accounts show that accumulated profits increased from €1.053m to €1.344m.
The bumper year for the company resulted in the firm's cash pile increasing by €340,549 to €1.135m.
There is no sign of Moore's popularity waning any time soon as a number of upcoming live shows in Dundalk, Dun Laoghaire, Galway and Castleblaney are already sold out.
The firm employs three people including directors and last year pay to directors last year decreased marginally - going down from €170,553 to €167,729.
