Mayoman gets top Goldman Sachs job
A MAYOMAN has been appointed to a senior role in global investment giant Goldman Sachs in New York.
Richard Chambers is due to take up his new role as managing director of short macro trading at the investment bank in January.
A native of Newport, Mr Chambers has been an interest-rate trader at Goldman Sachs since August 2015.
Before that he was a portfolio manager at hedge fund BlueCrest, and was a director at BNP Paribas.
He won a scholarship to St Jarlath’s College in Galway and has honour’s degrees from University College Galway and Warwick Business School in the UK. Mr Chambers is married to Waterford-born corporate lawyer Lyndsey Falconer of A&L Goodbody’s New York office.
