The Louis Copeland brand has long been synonymous with custom-made suits, but Ireland's well-known menswear retailer is now doing something a little different.
MMA star Conor McGregor's fondness for the tailor's threads has highlighted the Irish clothing on the global stage - and the Dublin-based team are looking to add to that offering.
Launched this month, 'Made of Irish' is a new online gift store that stocks a curated collection of homewares, supplying the Irish market and an international audience.
According to Louis Copeland Jnr, the idea came about after a number of Christmas seasons spent sourcing gifts for customers and suppliers.
"It's probably a bit mad doing this...we're up to our eyes with Louis Copeland...but we really didn't want to let this idea go," he told Independent.ie.
"Christmas just gone, we actually did up around 120 hampers and sourced 100pc Irish products and food for them. After Christmas had gone, I thought about it a bit more and realised there was something in this.
"I've gotten hampers in the past and they haven't been great; but some of the great stuff made in Ireland gets lots among the diddly-eye stuff. Supporting small Irish companies made it a runner too."
Up to five people currently work full-time on the existing clothing website, but Copeland Jnr said that they were "willing to do a bit more" when he broached the idea of 'Made of Irish'.
Products from Irish retailers such as Foxford, Rathborne candles, Thomas Diem pottery and Caulfield country boards all feature on the site - and even the hamper boxes are made in Ireland by Caulfield Country.
"We have the opportunity to support these great small Irish producers; we can see the scope in the market here, in Australia, in the US, in Dubai, to promote and sell their products across the world."
Web designers are continuing to make tweaks to the 'Made of Irish' site, with videos of the available products expected to feature over the coming days.
