Logicalis Ireland has become one of a select handful of international organisations to achieve the Cisco Global Gold Certification.

It is one of six Cisco partners in the world to be awarded this level of certification, which acknowledges approach to solutions, services and support.

According to the IT solutions and managed services provider, the distinction will enable the firm to build on its current service offering and double its revenues.

Managing Director of Logicalis Ireland Andrew Baird said that the certification will enable the company to build a significant share in the Cisco business in Ireland over the next three years.

"Initially, it will facilitate the launch of our Cisco Maintenance Offering (Partner Support Service), delivered as part of Logicalis’ Common Services Platform," he said.

"This ensures consistent service management practices with regional shared services delivery, based on standard core ITIL processes.

Meanwhile, Logicalis Ireland has recently added three individuals to the team: Barbara Bogdanescu, Chief Technologist (Security/Cisco), Cristian Colfescu, Senior Solutions Architect, and Kieran McGovern, Networking and Security Specialist.
