Little named competition lawyer of year in UK awards
William Fry's head of competition and regulation department, Cormac Little, has won the 'Competition and Antitrust' category for Ireland at the Client Choice Awards in London.
Mr Little was chosen by Client Choice's team of researchers for adding real value to his clients' businesses.
He was recently involved in advising DCC on the Irish merger control aspects of its sale of Fannin Compounding to Baxter International.
"He is consistently ranked as a market leader for competition and antitrust and the fact that this award is solely based on client nominations makes the success all the more meaningful," William Fry managing partner Bryan Bourke said. "Our Competition and Regulation department is regarded as the pre-eminent provider of expert competition and regulatory advice in the Irish market and this award is further testament to the breadth and depth of expertise we have within William Fry."
Client Choice was set up in 2005 in order to recognise law firms and partners around the world for excellence in their field.
Mr Little specialises in European Union and Irish competition, merger control and public procurement rules, securing approval for many high-profile corporate transactions.
This year more than 2,000 nominations were received by Client Choice.
