Keeping the paymasters happy: Taoiseach tells IMF's Lagarde her signature is 'work of art'

TAOISEACH Enda Kenny welcomed International Monetary Fund managing director Christing Lagarde back to Ireland taking the opportunity to compliment her on her hand writing.

She is in Dublin to attend a conference entitled 'Ireland - Lessons from its recovery'.

Welcoming MsLagarde to Government buildings where she signed the guest register, he told her that her signature was  "a work of art".

The Government is currently in discussions to make savings from the early repayment of IMF loans.
