Keenan heads corporate at ByrneWallace
Business law firm ByrneWallace has named Neil Keenan as the firm's Head of Corporate. He takes over the role from Feargal Brennan, who was appointed managing partner of ByrneWallace in June and had previously led the corporate division since 2011.
With over 25 years' experience as a corporate lawyer, Mr Keenan has advised on many significant and complex transactions with domestic and international dimensions including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, corporate re-organisations and corporate governance, with a particular capability in the green energy sector.
He is currently acting for Mainstream Renewable Power on a number of ongoing transactions.
He is the vice chair of the Business Law Committee of the Law Society of Ireland.
"This is an exciting and busy time in Ireland for corporate activity. The market for M&A is very buoyant, with a number of sectors on the rise in terms of activity," he said.
