A JUDGE has ordered the possession of adjoining properties in Dublin, said to be valued at up to €4m, over alleged rent arrears.
The orders were granted at the Commercial Court yesterday by Mr Justice Peter Kelly to Trio Investment Trust, Harmony Row, Dublin, against SJR Properties Ltd, with registered offices at Fitzwilliam Square, Dublin.
There was no appearance by or on behalf of the defendant company.
Trio had sought orders for possession of adjoining plots of ground at Sir John Rogerson's Quay and Lime Street, plus premises known as the 'Black Shed' at Hanover St.
In its claim, Trio said the lands at Sir John Rogerson's Quay and Lime Street were leased under a 35-year lease dating from 1998.
Forfeiture notices had been served related to the alleged breaches of lease.
However, the defendant had failed to remedy the breaches and also failed to indicate it was willing to give up peaceable possession of the premises.
