The cash pile at the music firm owned by the Vladivostok-bound Damien Rice last year jumped to €600,000.

The Co Kildare man is currently on a train on the Trans-Siberian railway to Vladivostok where he has told his fans via his website: "Oceans of time to write crossing this massive land mass' ahead of the week long train journey."
Underlining Rice's global appeal, he is playing sold-out dates in Japan later this month after having to move to larger venue in Moscow this week due to high demand. The performance of Damien Rice Music Ltd overlaps with the performance of his sister firm, Serendipity Touring Ltd, which enjoyed a stellar performance in the 12 months to the end of December 2015.
Accounts for Serendipity show that the cash pile increased from €388,550 to €1.16m.
