Ristorante Del Arte, one the world's largest chains of Italian restaurants has opened its third Irish restaurant in Dundrum Town Centre's cinema block over McDonalds.
This unit extends to over 464sqm and can cater for over 150 diners at a time.
The unit was taken on a 20 year lease with five yearly reviews.
Agents Bannon are not disclosing the rent but it has been speculated that it could exceed €160,000 a year.
The brand which is owned by Groupe le Duff operate over 1,100 cafes and restaurants worldwide and have sales exceeding €1.1bn annually.
Following successful trading at its other two Irish outlets, The Crescent Shopping Centre, Limerick and Mahon Point Shopping Centre, in Cork, it is planning to open other new stores in Ireland.
Paul Fahey, associate director of Bannon who acts for the tenant, is seeking other units of over 278sqm in high footfall locations throughout the country which will benefit from strong day and night trade.
