IT firm to create more than 60 jobs in Limerick
MORE THAN 60 new high-quality jobs have been announced for Limerick.
Worldwide TechServices (WWTS) is to establish its European headquarters in the city, creating 62 jobs at the Riverpoint development in the city centre.
WWTS employs more than 3,000 people worldwide. They offer solutions for a variety of technologies and customers in the IT market across 82 countries.
The investment is supported by IDA Ireland and the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation.
Making the announcement in Limerick this morning, Minister for Jobs Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton, said Limerick was chosen for this operation due to its "excellent skill base", established technology cluster, and connectivity to the Boston area and mainland Europe.
"I look forward to the growth of WWTS in Ireland," he added.
Recruitment for the 62 new posts has already begun. The jobs are in the areas of support functions including HR and finance.
