Irishman sells New York PR firm Kyne for $20m
A specialist health-sector PR firm founded in New York in 2009 by Irishman David Kyne has been sold in a deal valuing the business at $20m.
Specialist communications business Huntsworth bought an 85pc stake in Kyne from founder and majority shareholder David Kyne and his wife Jacqueline Kyne for $17.4m (€15.6m).

The business will be added to Huntsworth subsidiary Evoke PR & Influence to form Evoke Kyne, which will be led by CEO and founder Mr Kyne, a graduate of Trinity College Dublin and Dublin Institute of Technology. Kyne had sales last year of $10.4m and an operating profit of $1.3m.
