Independent News & Media (INM) website has been shortlisted for "best business-to-business website" at the 2015 eir Spiders awards.

The website's purpose is to have one online destination where advertisers can learn about INM's product suite and audiences, and get ideas on how to engage with them in the most relevant way.

The website uses cinemagraphs - these are still photographs in which a minor and repeated movement occurs - on the home page.

Cinemagraphs, which are published in either animated GIF format or as video, can give the illusion that the viewer is watching a video. INM's head of digital marketing, Lia Bresnihan, said the website was built as part of a brand refresh project for Independent News and Media, which "incorporated the development of a new suite of visual assets, developing a new brand position and redeveloping our business-to-business marketing strategy".

Ms Bresnihan added: "We are particularly proud to be shortlisted for this award as the website was completely designed and developed in-house by our own team, so it is a great acknowledgement of their hard work."

The Spiders awards are marking their 20th year this year. INM is the publisher of this newspaper.
