Greencore reports 50pc hike in annual revenues
FOOD company Greencore has reported a 49.9pc hike in revenues to £567.7m on pre-tax profits of £15.8m.
According to Greecore, the hike in revenues was partly due to its acquisition of Uniq last year – the company makes ready meals.
The Greecore board announced a dividend of 1.75p.
Company chief executive Patrick Coveney said despite tough market conditions, the company will continue to target strong growth while Uniq will deliver “real focus and scale in the US.”
The company reports in sterling after moving its main listing to the London Stock Exchange.
