GrabOne clocks up €20m in sales since 2011 launch
Fast-growing daily deals website GrabOne sells a money-off deal every 60 seconds.
The company – a joint venture between Independent News and Media and IdeaHQ – now attracts over two million visitors to its website every month, with a huge surge of users checking in on mobile devices.
Some €20m has been spent on deals since the launch in June 2011.
GrabOne has saved approximately €1m per month for its loyal customers, with deals on everything from Butlers chocolates to family days out and cocktails.
Speaking of the company's success, which has seen GrabOne increase staff numbers from an initial five to 40 people, general manager Ruairi Doyle, says: "We started this business when bagging a bargain was something to boast about rather than a purchase to hide.
"This word-of-mouth has helped us build a following of over half-a-million subscribers and thousands of happy partnerships.
