Food firm Cully & Sully sold to US group Hain Celestial
FOOD company Cully & Sully has been sold to US firm Hain Celestial for an undisclosed sum.
Cork-based Cully & Sully makes soups, savoury pies and hot pots and has a range of about 20 products.
Hain is a natural organic products firm and the company said yesterday that the Cully & Sully management team of Cullen Allen and Colum O’Sullivan will continue to manage all aspects of the business and report to Hain chief executive Rob Burnett.
"Joining the Hain Daniels Group will provide us with the opportunity to broaden our product offerings into other categories and to expand the Cully & Sully brand into the UK," said Colum O'Sullivan.
"Since the inception of Cully & Sully, we've always been about natural, good tasting and honest food, where quality and traditional cooking techniques are paramount," said Cullen Allen.
