Firms worry they'll be hit over regulation
THE majority of Irish businesses are concerned about exposure to regulatory failures, a new survey has found.
According to the latest "business barometer on regulation" from PWC, some 71pc of companies are now much more conscious of being hit for regulatory problems than previously.
While over three-quarters of respondents said their regulatory compliance framework was fully developed, some 23pc said that it was still in development or not developed at all.
A third said their executives have "no structured training programme on their regulatory oversight responsibilities".
