EZ Living to set up at Airside Retail Park

EZ Living, the Irish furniture retailer, is the latest tenant of Airside Retail Park which is owned by IPUT and Irish Life.

The retailer is taking Unit 9, which has 1,073sqm at ground floor and 557sqm at mezzanine level, on a new long term lease.

When it opens in June, EZ Living will have 12 out-lets around the country, of which four are directly run stores and eight are concessions.

Stephen Murray of Jones Lang LaSalle, who acted for the landlords, says only one of the 18 units in the park is now available. It extends to 2,628sqm and is currently being sub-divided into two units of 1,353 and 1,275sqm. Its rent is about €269 per sqm and it is expected to be completed and available to let within two months.

Karl Byrne of Douglas Newman Good represented the tenant.

Mr Murray says that Airside has benefited from a flight to quality as retailers focus on the strongest retail parks which have lower vacancies and better letting value.
