Errigal latest casualty in construction industry
DONEGAL timber-frame house-builder Errigal New Homes has become the latest casualty of the construction industry.
Notices published yesterday show the company will hold a creditors' meeting on January 27, for the purpose of winding up the business.
Company director Sean Davidson yesterday said he had "no comment" to make on the situation.
"There's been enough in the local press already," he added.
Local reports from Donegal show Errigal was expected to hold a creditors' meeting in November.
At the time, the company was reported to employ 12 people, down from a high of 20.
Mr Davidson refused to confirm how many people were currently employed, or when the company began trading.
Errigal's website says the business "draws from over 40 years of experience within the construction industry".
