Dublin-based Ardmac creates 70 new jobs as it opens offices in Cork and Amsterdam

An Dublin-headquartered construction firm will be creating 70 new jobs this year as it opens offices in Cork and Amsterdam.

Ardmac's expansion across its Irish and European operations will bring the total number of its employees to 380 by the end of 2019.

The company is looking for skilled professionals in the areas of project management, quantity surveying and design engineering.

With additional offices in Manchester, Craigavon and Brussels, Ardmac provides specialist services to the commercial fit out, life sciences and data centre sectors.

CEO Ronan Quinn said that the expansion follows a successful year of business growth for the company.

"The markets we serve are providing sustainable opportunities and the demand for our services continues. We are seeking talented individuals to join our experienced teams, with the aim of growing our Irish, UK and European operations," he said.

Mr Quinn said that Ardmac will provide extensive training to successful candidates, including graduate development programmes, management training and executive leadership courses.

In 2018, Ardmac was also crowned 'Fit Out Contractor of the Year' at the annual Fit Out Awards in Ireland.
