THE former Kingsley transport facility, at Broombridge, Dublin 11 is being offered for sale with a €2.35m price tag or to let at approx €200,000 a year.
The 3.5 acre property currently accommodates five units with a combined total gross external area of 6,362sqm. The units range in size from 370sqm to 2,401sqm.
Units 1 and 4 are more lock up type storage units with limited basic fit out. Units 1A, 2 and 3 are regular warehouse / industrial units with associated offices and services.
Tom Kavanagh of Kavanagh Fennell who is receiver for Kingsley Transport is willing to consider offers for each of the units but he would prefer to sell the entire.
Unit 3 is self-contained with independent access and yard space so that unit would be most suitable for sale as a stand alone entity.
Jarlath Lynn of the agents CBRE says the price equates to an average price of approx €35 per sq ft and approx €3 per sq ft on a letting basis.
"The property would suit a wide variety of uses given its highly accessible location, variation of unit sizes and overall secure nature of the site. The units are priced competitively and we anticipate good level of demand from an entire and piecemeal point of view".
While the site over looks a canal the area is very much an industrial one.
