Former Cisco Ireland executive and Dragon Barry O'Sullivan marked the launch of Altocloud, his new company, with a visit to the White House on Friday as part of the US President's celebrations ahead of St Patrick's Day.

Altocloud aims to eliminate the hair-tearing-out experience that accompanies contacting a call centre, with a built-in 'speak to a real person' button to wipe out call centre horror.

Mr O'Sullivan was in charge of a €2bn-a-year voice business until he stepped down last month to focus on his venture.

"Companies today are spending millions on brands and marketing, but when they have the opportunity to talk to the customer, they make it a horrible experience," Mr O'Sullivan, right, said. Companies can easily embed Atlocloud's solutions for message, video or voice on to their mobile and website applications.
