Domino's Pizza Irish half yearly sales up 6.5pc
SALES at Domino's Pizza Irish division were up 6.5pc in the first six months of the year, new figures show.
Domino's Pizza group posted a 46pc drop in first half profit today - growth in the firm's UK business reported higher losses and charges at its German arm.
For the first six months of June, pre-tax profits after exceptionals fell to £11.6m from £21.5m the same time last year.
The company said the boost was countrywide, and not just in Dublin.
''The market has just seen its sixth month of positive like-for-like sales growth, leading to growing confidence that this market is now heading into clearer waters,'' Domino's said.
