Directory keeps an ear on the clock in radio link-up
MAKING the transition from number checks to time checks, directory inquiries service 11850 has signed on the dotted line to become sponsor for Today FM's clock-watching service.
The sponsorship will be unveiled Monday, March 15, and will run for an initial six months, with 11850 believed to be spending around €200,000 for the privilege.
The princely sum covers five daily stings, at 07.58, 10.58, 14.58, 17.58 and 19.58, around key programmes, including Ian Dempsey, Ray D'Arcy, Tony Fenton and Matt Cooper.
"The Today FM Timechecks sponsorship is the perfect partner for 11850 as it acts as a reminder for people to make that call and not put things on the long finger," says 11850 boss Susan Branchflower.
