Datalex reports 17pc revenue rise for quarter

Travel software provider Datalex has reported a 17pc increase in platform revenue for the first three months of 2015.

At its AGM yesterday, Datalex presented a dividend of $0.03 per ordinary share to shareholders - an increase of 50pc on 2014.

The company has recently become profitable, having suffered annual losses of more than $1m between 2007 and 2011.

Aidan Brogan, who has been chief executive since 2012, said performance this year is in line with projections of adjusted earnings growth of 20pc-25pc.

"Our performance year to date is in line with these expectations," the company said in its trading update.

"With the new customers scheduled to go live in 2015 and the continued strength of our new business pipeline, we are confident that the foundations are in place for continued growth in the years ahead."

The group provides travel software including to airlines such as Aer Lingus, Air China, Delta Airlines and Virgin Atlantic. Swiss carrier Edelweiss has recently been signed up as a customer.

Shares fell 1.33pc yesterday to €1.85 each.
