John Corrigan is an NTMA man to his finger tips.
He has been a leading light at the NTMA since he joined the organisation, back in 1991, when it was set up by Michael Somers.
The Dubliner had previously worked for AIB investment managers, and had already gained a degree from University College, Dublin.
He has led the NTMA's national pension reserve fund since its inception and has also been working hard this year to set up the National Asset Management Agency.
The married father-of-four, who is 64 and lives in Clonskeagh, faces a challenge not unlike the one he faced when he first joined the NTMA back in the dark days of the early 1990s when the economy was also in crisis.
