Seasalt, which has its origins in Cornwall, said it was drawn to Clonakilty's "vibrant character, stunning beaches and relaxed way of life".

Founder Neil Chadwick said: "We're delighted to be able to bring Seasalt to Ireland. It's an exciting new venture for us - Clonakilty is a brilliant location with many similarities to our Cornish towns - from its rich Celtic culture to the breathtaking scenery.

"We're really looking forward to welcoming everyone to our new shop."

Seasalt products are crafted from natural fabrics and yarns as much as possible, such as Soil Association organic cotton, merino, bamboo and linen. The clothing range prides itself on offering a range of sizes to reflect the inclusivity of the brand.
