THE financial performance of celebrity TV chef Catherine Fulvio’s Wicklow cookery school was dented last year as it posted a €23,000 loss.

Accounts just filed by Ms Fulvio’s Ballyknocken Cookery School show that it made the loss after notching up a near €100,000 profit in 2011.

The financial results of the cookery school also include the performance of the four-star Ballyknocken Farmhouse and the Catherine Fulvio brand.

Ms Fulvio had already flagged that the cookery school was unlikely to repeat the stronger 2011 performance in 2012.

But her company still had €163,000 in cash at the bank and at hand at the end of 2012, up from €148,000 a year earlier.
