Tim Kenny is stepping down from his role as finance director with listed housebuilder Cairn Homes.

Mr Kenny, who will leave the role in January next year, is to take up a new senior management position in a private Irish company.

Michael Stanley, CEO of Cairn, said: "Tim's role in establishing a strong finance function in the group has been invaluable.”

“I am pleased to have had the opportunity to work closely with him and benefit from his professionalism and his counsel. We remain focused on building on the success achieved by Cairn to date and on securing a strong successor to Tim."

Mr Kenny joined the group in August 2017.

Last year he received €770,000 in remuneration for the year. This included a bonus of €285,000.

A process to recruit a new finance director will commence immediately.
