PEOPLE using their contacts to help bring jobs to Ireland could earn as much as €300,000 in entrepreneur Terry Clune's (pictured) innovative ConnectIreland.com scheme.
While the IDA primarily targets major international corporations, the ConnectIreland.com programme will see Irish people around the globe pitch the country as a jobs location to mid-ranking and smaller firms.
The diaspora runs into the millions and the scheme will tap their contacts.
While people can earn €1,500 per job created by companies they introduce to Ireland, higher payments of up to €3,000 per job are available to those who do more of the spadework, such as facilitating meetings with foreign executives.
The "introduction" fee is for the first 100 sustainable jobs created.
