THE Blueface Business Elevator competition for 2012 has signed up Heneghan PR to be public relations sponsor.
The agency will provide the eventual winner of the Blueface Business Elevator 2012 with strategic and tactical public relations support to the value of €10,000. Overall, the prize value is €50,000.
Blueface Elevator invites Irish-based start-ups with innovative ideas to give a three-minute pitch.
Entrepreneurs throughout Ireland are invited to pitch their business ideas to a panel of judges and the winning pitch will receive the hugely beneficial prize of top-level telecoms (Blueface), advertising (Newstalk 106-108FM) and public relat- ions advice (Heneghan PR), along with mobile handsets and tablets (Carphone Warehouse).

To qualify, companies must be less than five years old and any products or services being pitched must have spent less than one year on the market. The closing date for initial submission is June 20.
KBC is market research winner
KBC Bank has won the Market Research Award at the All-Ireland Marketing Awards. The All-Ireland Marketing awards at the Burlington are considered one of the most prestigious marketing awards in the country.

WHPR in Agency of the Year win
WHPR has scooped the Agency of the Year award at the 2012 Social Media Awards, beating some of Ireland's leading digital agencies. WHPR also picked up an award for The National Lottery in the "Best Facebook Page for a Business (non-campaign)" category.
