Blockbusters: Ardmore movie firm records profit of €220k
Ardmore Studios-based movie firm Metropolitan Film Productions recorded profits of €220,434 last year.
New accounts filed by Metropolitan Film Productions Ltd - led by industry veterans Ronan Flynn and James Flynn - show that accumulated profits increased to €2.286m in the 12 months to the end of July last.

The profit represents a 47pc increase on the profit of €149,807 recorded in 2017.
The firm employs seven and pay to directors at the company more than halved last year, falling from €700,053 to €336,329.
A sister firm, Metropolitan Films International Ltd, has qualified for tax credits for the likes of the Vikings, Into the Badlands and Penny Dreadful (pictured).
