Bank of Ireland launches new escrow service
Bank of Ireland has launched a new escrow service it says will help clients mitigate risk in transactions such as merger and acquisitions.
The bank says the service is being offered across all the jurisdictions in which it operates.
Bank of Ireland will act as a neutral third party to hold assets in escrow until an obligation is met.
Tom Hayes, the chief executive of Bank of Ireland Corporate Banking, said: "This service will provide a fast, secure and efficient way to manage designated assets and mitigate potential risks in commercial transactions."
