BANK of Ireland chief executive Richie Boucher got a pay package worth €831,000 in 2011, new figures show.
His gross salary was €623,000 but he also got a pension contribution of €174,000 and other payments totalling €34,000 - bringing his overall package to €831,000.
According to the bank’s annual report, he was awarded a salary of €690,000 but waived €67,000.
The salary is at the same level as 2010, the Department of Finance said last night.
It was agreed with the-then Finance Minister Brian Lenihan in 2009.
