All change: New managing partner for Arthur Cox

Arthur Cox has appointed finance and equity specialist Geoff Moore to the senior position of managing partner.

Mr Moore, 44, is a Cork native who joined Arthur Cox as a trainee in 1998. After a two-year stint at a New York firm, he returned to Arthur Cox and became a partner in 2007. He will succeed Brian O'Gorman at the helm on November 1 to begin a four-year term.

Mr O'Gorman is returning to full-time practice as a corporate partner after serving the maximum two terms as managing partner.

Mr Moore said it was "a great honour to be chosen to lead this firm, which has played such a central role in Ireland's business life".
