A DUBLIN company has joined with the Periodical Publishers Association of Ireland (PPAI) to launch an online service offering paid-for access to a selection of Irish magazines.
The website, which is called mymagonline.com, charges users for PDF images from a range of magazines, including PC Live, Car Buyers Guide and Golf in Ireland.
"Our aim is to deliver a wide range of quality magazine content to a time-poor target market, on a highly accessible web platform," said Barry Baker, the chief executive of the company.
The site offers users the option of yearly subscriptions to magazines or one-off payments for single issues.
Mymagonline also plans to launch a UK version of its site in 2008 and then expand into other international markets.
