A new app with all the right answers for college students
IT specialist Zinopy plans to have all the right answers after joining forces with Dublin City University (DCU) on an innovative new app.
They have produced QuAS, which allows frequently answered questions (FAQs) to be answered automatically and intuitively online.
It is hoped the new app will bring to an end the frustrating customer experience of static FAQ web pages – or waiting to speak to a customer service assistant on the telephone.
The application is being trialled this week at DCU and will allow students to find information on any aspect of their university life on any device.
The QuAS app uses the latest language technologies and research at DCU to create an intelligent search engine which maps questions to the correct answer, learning from previous answers to create an ever-evolving database of questions and corresponding accurate responses. It was funded by a successful Innovation Partnership between DCU, Enterprise Ireland and Zinopy.
