A fairway to go: €1.6m operating profit for K Club in 2017 but resort still in rough
The group which operates the K Club recorded operating profits of €1.6m in 2017.
New accounts filed by Bishopscourt Investments Ltd and subsidiaries show that the group recorded the operating profits after revenues increased by 13% from €16.6m to €18.78m in 2017.

The directors state that the €2.1m increase in revenues is driven by "improved occupancy levels within the hotel operation".
The golf resort, which hosted the Ryder Cup in 2006, was put on the market for a reported €80m last June but remains unsold.
Meanwhile, the five-star Druid's Glen hotel and golf resort in Wicklow, four-time host to the Irish Open, has been sold to the Neville Hotel Group in a deal worth €45m.
