€650k guide for Newbay

Newbay Country House, a former hotel on 16 acres near Wexford town will be brought to auction on May 30 with a €650,000 guide price.

Local auctioneer Michael O'Leary of Sherry FitzGerald O'Leary says that the former country house could easily be restored to being a private home.

Its accommodation includes 11 luxury bedrooms, two function rooms, a formal dining room, feature bistro, modern kitchens, bars, attractively laid out grounds with two tennis courts. Its land includes five acres of forest nature trails and a gate lodge.

Property Partners John Corish is joint agent for the auction.

Meanwhile, Sherry FitzGerald O'Leary recently sold a building with a restaurant known as Bia Alainn, Main St, Bunclody after auction for just above its €275,000 guide price.
