€2.75m tag on former McNamara unit

A large industrial premises on a 26 hectare site in Clondra, Co Longford, is being offered for sale with a €2.75m guide price.

Up until recent years, it was a pre-cast concrete manufacturing facility operated by Ormond Building Products of which Bernard McNamara was a director. He resigned last year and the company was dissolved in April this year. It is expected that NAMA will benefit from the proceeds of the sale.

The 30,600sqm industrial premises comes with 2,020sqm of office space, most of which is located in a single storey section to the front. There is a two-storey integrated storage and office section within the warehouse which is accessed by both dock levellers and grade access doors.

It sits on the banks of the River Shannon and benefits from a water treatment system, open water storage tanks, a sprinkler system and a dual ESB supply.
