10,000 job seekers expected to attend career zoo
10,000 people are expected to attend Career Zoo at the Convention centre on Saturday September 14.
The event is one of the biggest recruitment drives for qualified professionals and graduates and was launched by Jobs Minister Richard Bruton.
According to the organisers, there are thousands of jobs on offer with Irish and multinational firms including Accenture, Boston Scientific, Amazon and Ericcson.
Launching the event, Mr Bruton said: “At the heart of the Government’s plan for jobs and growth is supporting the accelerating transition from the old economy based on property to the new economy based on innovation."
He added: As we have seen recently there are real reasons to be positive about the prospects for jobs in technology, life sciences and other dynamic sectors, with 3,000 additional jobs now being created every month in the private sector."
