Irish investment fund Green REIT appoints new COO

Property investment fund REIT has appointed Niall O'Buachalla as its new Chief Operating Officer of Green REIT Property Ventures, the company’s Investment Manager.

Green REIT is listed on the Irish and London Stock Exchanges. The company was the first REIT established in Ireland following the introduction of REIT legislation.

The Irish company said that the role of COO will incorporate the management of all financial, regulatory and risk functions of Green REIT as well as co-ordination of transactions and debt structuring of its asset portfolio.

Niall O'Buachalla, who will take over the role in January of next year, has over a decade of experience in the commercial property sector and previously held positions as Finance Director at Burlington Real Estate, where he was a co-founder, and Treasury Holdings.
