There could be a new, easier way to view all your viral Irish soccer videos very soon.

Innovative Ireland fans have teamed up with a new venture – Crowdsight -  to collate all your engaging content from matches, both at home and abroad, in one, slick app.

Popular Irish soccer supporters website, YouBoysInGreen (YBIG), and Crowdsight have launched the YBIG Rewards app – a user friendly platform that allows you to upload and view all videos and pictures from every Ireland fixture.

And those who post their content could be rewarded with trips to Ireland away games as well as sports vouchers and jerseys.

The app is now live for photographs with the video option to be introduced early in the new year.

John Fennessy, Founder & CEO of Crowdsight, said: “Firstly, existing second screening options such as Twitter and Facebook are cluttered, noisy and, while showcasing the wider discussion, don’t allow fans to focus in on what it’s like to be there and attending the event!

“Secondly, for those travelling fans that are creating great content that goes viral, creating thousands of impressions (impressions which Facebook and Twitter enthusiastically sell!), there is no tangible reward for these efforts!”

YouBoysInGreen have a large and highly engaged community following through their popular fans forum and social media accounts.

“YBIG is delighted to work with Crowdsight on their new app. Finally, we now have instant photos from fan experiences of Ireland matches all in the one place. It is a great way to create a photo diary. When the video option is introduced next year, it'll create huge interest among fans.”

While all the photos are shown in one stream from each match, they can be shared across existing social networks, with Crowdsight mobile technology tracking all the likes, comments and shares to identify viral and trending content in real-time.

Fennessy explains: “The end result for fans is that by using the YBIG Rewards app they can still share with their communities of friends and followers; however, now viral photos will translate into sponsored rewards including travel packages for the next Ireland away games, as well as sports vouchers from a high street sports retailer.”
