Indian giant launches European office here

Minister for Education and Skills Richard Bruton yesterday inaugurated the European delivery centre of NIIT in Dublin.

The company, headquartered in India, provides multi-disciplinary learning management and training delivery solutions to corporations, institutions and individuals in more than 40 countries.

NIIT is to hire over 100 local employees in the coming months. NIIT will employ content developers, high-end engineers, creative writers, instructional designers, digital media professionals, trainers, multilingual customer service support professionals, and project managers.

NIIT’s customers and partners, senior members of the IDA and NIIT bosses from North America were also in attendance at the ceremony which included a traditional Indian ‘lighting of the lamp’.
