Top tech influencer Azeem Azhar talks AI at BT Mindshare event

Top tech influencer and entrepreneur Azeem Azhar joins a panel of leading industry executives at BT Ireland's flagship customer event this week.

The topic of Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be the focus of BT Mindshare, which takes place at the BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition 2019 at the RDS.

Kicking off at 7am on Thursday, January 10, Azhar - a Senior Advisor in AI to Accenture's CTO - will give the keynote address, will be focused on AI and The Future of Work.

Independent News and Media's Group Business Editor Dearbhail MacDonald will MC the breakfast event, which includes an interview with Azhar, followed by a panel discussion.

BT's MD of Technology Rachel Higham will be sitting on the panel alongside Stephen Reidy, CIO of Three, and FBD Insurance CTO Enda Kyne.

The tech experts will discuss trends that are disrupting the industry and and how technology (AI) can help solve issues that present - and audience members can participate in the following Q&A.

BT aims to use this event to gives its customers (C-Suite and business decisions makers) with an effective of what the future has in store for the telecoms space - and how they can prepare for it.

Founder and CEO of PeerIndex, which was acquired by Brandwatch in 2014, Azhar has also worked as a journalist covering technology at The Guardian and The Economist.

Azhar is the founder and creator of the weekly Exponential View newsletter about the future of technology and society, as well as the Exponential View podcast.
