Bidding for the entire opened at €300,000 and after nine bids from two active customers the price reached €440,000. At that point auctioneer Robert Ganly of Ganly Walters switched his attention to the lots.
The first Lot comprising the house and yard on 15ac attracted one bid of €220,000, while a second Lot, a parcel of 17ac, was bid to €240,000.
Mr Ganly then went back to the entire and a bid of €480,000 put the property on the market. With no further bids emerging, the holding was purchased in trust by Matthew Conroy of John Dawson Auctioneers, Tullow.
